Fairytale Town

Friday, we knew it was supposed to be nice weather, so we "mommies" planned a day at Fairytale Town. It's a little park for kids across from the zoo. I actually like it much better than the zoo for Zeke's age. There are a ton of little things to climb on, and walk around, and some farm animals to look at. It isn't very big, so they can't get too lost, and as long as it's not super busy, it's pretty pleasant. Plus, they don't care if you bring in your own food, so we can have little picnics there. It is $4 to get in, but 2 and under get in free, so I'm golden!
Too scared to go down the slide, so I helped. It was pretty fast.
Riding a horse. I tried to get him to pet a real one, but he freaked out.

Driving Cinderella's coach. And putting the move on Ava!

They loved this little candlestick lamp.

Zeke was a huge fan of the goats. I think it's because they were behind two layers of fencing.

Zeke disappeared, and I panicked a little, but then I found him INSIDE the pumpkin. I didn't think he could climb inside by himself, but he liked it there.
Getting brave about slides. I suppose this one isn't as scary as the shoe slide!

AFTER his meltdown, Samson slept like a little angel for the rest of the day!

Brothers. I love these boys! Especially in jammies!

My RING!!!

The night of the Bachelor Finale (which was a huge disappointent in and of itself!) My friend Sis had a "Bachelor Party". We all got together and watched it at her place, and had ice cream sundaes. Before I went, I was primping, and I distinctly remember thinking to myself, self, you just need to get your phone, keys, and ring, and you'll be ready!. So I did. As soon as I got in my car to drive home after, I realized that my ring was not on my finger any more. That night I scoured my house thinking maybe I never put it on, but to no avail. I even texted Sis and asked her to look. The next day I drove back to her apartments and searched the parking lot, the walk way, and we even tore her place apart looking for it! She promised she wouldn't vacuum until I found it. I told her don't worry, I've looked EVERYWHERE and it's gone. Well, this morning, our friend Cortnie called me. Last night her baby had a blowout in his carseat. When she took it apart to wash it, a sparkly ring fell out. MY RING!!! I am so excited. It's not my original wedding ring, but Josiah bought it for me after I had Zeke, and I LOVE it! I am on cloud 9 today. And today I am taking it to get sized, because now it's way too big!
